Panna cotta

Recipe for a panna cotta, light and not too sweet.

Panna cotta means "cooked cream" in Italian and it is a dessert that is both delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 sheets of gelatin
  • 1 vanilla pod or teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 25 cl of liquid cream full
  • 20 cl milk (or coconut milk to make it a little less ordinary)
  • 50 g of sugar

Steps

  1. Soften the gelatine in the cold water.
  2. Heat the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla over medium heat.
  3. As soon as boiling, remove from heat and add the gelatine wrung out beforehand, and mix well.
  4. It only remains to pour into glasses, allow to cool a little before placing in the fridge for at least 4 hours of the time it freezes well.

For the grout

Give free rein to your desires and your imagination, you can make a coulis of red fruits with strawberries or raspberries. But also mango or passion fruit. Personally, I like when the sauce brings a touch of acidity, I think it is balanced well with the sweetness of the cream.
